Types of Ovarian cysts

1. Corpus luteum cysts
Normally, Follicle sac dissolves when the egg is released but if it fails to dissolve after releasing an egg, fluid accumulation occurs in it,and giving rise to Corpus luteum sac.
2. Follicle cyst
During the menstrual cycle, an egg grows in a sac called a follicle, located inside the ovaries. In most of the cases, this sac breaks and releases an egg. But if the sac does not break, then the fluid inside it can result in the formation of a cyst in the ovary, called Follicle cyst.
3. Dermoid cysts
Cysts containing hair, fat or other tissues.
4. Endometriomas
When the normal tissues which grow inside the uterus start growing outside the uterus, attaching to the ovaries giving rise to Endometriomas.
5. Cystadenomas
Non-cancerous growths growing on the outer side of the ovaries.
Clinical features
