According To Ayurveda
According to Ayurveda, healthy Lifestyle is all about looking after your healthy life and a healthy body as well. Not only eating healthy is the essential part of your body there are so many things that will help you and your life healthy. Being healthy is the most important thing than anything.
If you’re struggling to keep a healthy lifestyle with your hectic schedule, these pieces of advice will give you a nudge in the right direction.
RULES FOR HEALTHY LIFE THAT EVERYONE MUST FOLLOW THEM
LOAD YOUR PLATE WITH VEGETABLES
Making a healthy plate, you just need to fill half your plate with vegetables and you can choose “crunchy” vegetables, such as broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, and leafy greens. On the other half side of the plate, put whole grains or legumes in one quarter and a serving of healthy, lean protein in the other.
STARVING YOURSELF IS REALLY A BAD IDEA
This habit is not only unhealthy but also has adverse effects. If you don’t eat enough & moderate calories throughout the day, you’ll be more likely to overindulge at night. When you focus your efforts all day on skimping on food, you set yourself up for eating unhealthy food items later on.
FIND TIME FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Yes, this does mean exercise, but not necessarily the type you do in the gym. If you have a hard time to make yourself even step foot into the gym, find options that will make physical activities appealing to you. Having a hobby like cycling, hiking, swimming or running is a wonderful way to de-stress, get piled up toxic energy out of your system, and stay fit.
CUT DOWN ON PROCESSED FOODS
Not all packaged or pre-made foods are unhealthy for you, but you’ll need to read nutrition labels carefully in order to choose wisely. Ideally, you should gravitate toward healthy options that make nutritious cooking easier, like frozen vegetables and canned beans, and skip the meals in a box that are loaded with preservatives, hidden sources of fat, and too much sugar and sodium.
LIMIT YOUR SALT AND SUGAR INTAKE
There is not only coffee, tea or juices where most people get the majority of salt and sugar. Sodium and sugar are rampant in most packaged foods. Start by checking the nutrition label on your breakfast cereal before adding it in your grocery list.
DON’T COUNT ON CALORIES
Not all calories are created equal. Some people count their calories on the lump basis and eat those specific calorie packs of cookies or other snacks and focus on the fact that it’s only few calories, but they don’t pay attention to what else they’re getting, especially in terms of sugar and fat. The better approach is that keenly pay attention on naturally low in calories and rich in essential vitamins, minerals and fiber.
HAVE A MORNING ROUTINE AND DONT RUSH IT
Always wake up an hour before sunrise because if your morning starts well, chances are that you will remain calm, collected and without stress throughout the day.
Doing things hastily is a bad practice, seeing that it doesn’t give us enough time to wake up entirely and begin our day with ease and respect for our time we so desperately need. Having a morning routine is none less than a good and healthy morning meal which is an excellent way to channel your energy into something productive, like going for a run, and just drinking a cup of herbal tea in peace.
DON’T SKIP BREAKFAST
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The problem is that many people consider their lives to be so busy that they don’t have time for breakfast. Many believe that they can simply make up their missed breakfast by eating something a little later.
When you wake in the morning, your blood sugar is naturally low because your body has been using its sugar reserves to fuel itself through the night. This results in your metabolism automatically being slow upon waking and it’s the reason why you feel sluggish in the morning. But, when you eat a nutrient-rich breakfast, it replenishes your body’s fuel reserves.
DRINK ENOUGH WATER
Keeping hydrated is crucial for health and well-being, but many people do not consume enough fluids each day.
DON’T BE STRESSED
Effective stress management is associated with many health benefits. Positive thinking helps with stress management and can even improve your health.
SLEEP WELL
It promotes peak performance and productivity. It also helps you fight off infection, maintain a healthy weight and avoid chronic diseases. Without healthy sleep you are more likely to have heart disease and Type 2 diabetes.
HAVE A PAUSE BUTTON
One of the best possible ways to help you staying in healthy life both physically and mentally is to know well, when to stop. Some people have a hard time to get them to start doing something, but constantly being in a rush and stressed out which is the worst thing you can do.
That’s why it’s important to have a pause button. Just take out about 5 to 10 minutes every couple of hours during which you allow yourself to stop and just breathe. We can be so hard on ourselves and the consequences of that lack of self-love can be anything from constant exhaustion to negative self-talk and self-image. It’s alright to have a busy schedule but make sure you’re productive in what you’re doing.
